Marketplace Specialist

Location: Midwest

If you have marketplace (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) experience, understand how to craft marketing materials for the above marketplaces and have experience drive the correct product mix to maximize sales we need to talk. 


The purpose of this role is to assist in online sales on marketplace sites such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart and more. This includes inventory management, pricing and promotional activities, online merchandising, content curation, and monitoring the company and competitor performance on online retail sites. The ideal candidate can process product specifications and translate them into formats that meet the expectations of marketplace sites and their customers.

Job Description: 

  • Manage product data and convert to meet marketplace specifications

  • Audit listing information before and after publishing to marketplaces

  • Keyword and competitor research to track performance and ensure optimized content

  • SEO-focused product copywriting

  • Troubleshoot listing and account issues

  • Research opportunities for new product buys

  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure price parity with other channels

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree Digital Communications, Marketing or related field preferred

  • Intermediate writing skills, particularly the ability to include keywords in product titles and descriptions

  • Basic knowledge of core SEO concepts

  • Basic math skills

  • Experience with inventory/content distribution platforms (ChannelAdvisor, CommerceHub, Salsify) a big plus
